"The Olympic Gold Jazz, Wine & Cheese” is a fundraising reception hosted by the Franklin High School’s Track & Field Boosters Club along with 1976 Olympic Gold and Silver medalist and Head Coach Franklin High School’s Track & Field Team Millard F. Hampton, III.
Coach Hampton has invited a number of his close friends and Olympians to join us for this fundraising reception which will take place during the airing of the Olympics in London, on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at 6:00 p.m.

Over 30 past Olympians have been invited to attend this event.  A few of the invitees include: Robert Poynter, Edwin Moses (1976); John Carlos (1968); Bruce Jenner (1976); Tommy Smith (1968); Eddie Hart (1972); and Andre Phillips (1988). 

Proceeds will be used to support the teams activities, including equipment costs, transportation costs, and registration fees.
